I am an Assistant Professor (AU: Continuing Lecturer) at the University of Queensland (Australia) and a researcher affiliated with the University of Sydney (Australia).
Previously, I contributed to Macquarie University (Australia) as an Assistant Professor (AU: Lecturer), Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University (Japan) as an Associate Professor (JP: Tenure Track) and the University of Waikato (New Zealand) as an Assistant Professor (NZ: Continuing Lecturer). My research focuses on international security using the multi-country and multi-lingual (English, Korean and Mandarin Chinese) perspectives. In addition, I employ an interdisciplinary approach in linking international business and security domains along with industry engagement to advance our understanding on imminent planetary challenges. Building on my research, I regularly teach courses on Asia-Pacific Politics, Geopolitics and Geostrategy, Strategy and Security in the Indo-Pacific Region, incorporating critical issues in emerging areas such as Climate, Health, Space, among others. |
